A blend of 50% Seyval Blanc, 30% Pinot Blanc and 20% Reserve Wine with fresh citrus notes, aromas of red apple and subtle stone fruits, this wine has a great mid-palate structure and a balance that is nicely rounded with good effervescence. The lees ageing brings some aromas of pastry and brioche reminiscent of a delicious apple pie.

About The Wine

Tasting Notes

Our quintessentially Cotswolds sparkling wine has fresh aromas of ripe red apple and notes of white nectarine. The developing toasted aromas subtly hinting at the 18 months lees aging. The palate is delicate with great fruit precision showing distinctive white stone fruit and ripe apple with a fine mousse. This is all effortlessly balanced with the sugars and acidity, harmoniously leaving the flavours to linger on the palate. An excellent crowd pleaser for toasting any occasion. Wine Making

Variety: 50% Seyval Blanc, 30% Pinot Blanc 20% Reserve Wine

Location: Stonehouse, Amberley, Woodchester

Vinification: Whole bunch pressed, 1-2 weeks fermentation at 16°

Time on lees: Minimum 18 months

Alcohol: 12%

Residual sugar: 9 g/l

Orders received before 10am are dispatched on a next day delivery service, but please allow 2-3 working days, but can be up to five working days in busy periods.

Please provide an email address and a mobile phone number for order tracking and delivery puproses. For deliveries sent by our courier (ParcelForce), an email and text message will be sent to you to let you know when your delivery will arrive. If a landline number is provided, this will not be used – you will just receive an email notification instead. For local deliveries, we will use your number only to call you if lost.

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for 6+ bottles. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.

A new addition to the Woodchester range, the Trigonia Series of sparkling wines have spent extended time on the lees before being released.

The first release of our Trigonia Series, the 2016 Blanc de Blancs. This wine was bottled in early summer 2017 and has now spent six years on the lees, quietly evolving and developing those enhanced autolytic aromas and flavours. Disgorged in May 2023, the nose is still fresh and lively, with inviting biscuit and pastry aromas reminiscent of a lemon tart.
