A delightfully fresh, dry white blend made from Bacchus, Ortega and Pinot Blanc.

Culver Hill is our estate blend and brings out the best elements of all three varieties. Bringing structure and richness to the mid palate, bright citrus notes depth depth and complexity. Aromas of Braeburn apple, honeysuckle and nectarine with subtle minerality on the palate, a well balanced acidity and a clean finish. See tasting notes for full details.

Ideal as an apéritif wine or alongside a broccoli and tomato quiche, a risotto primavera and even a spaghetti alle vongole, a delicious Italian dish with clams that calls for white wine both in it and to indulge in alongside

About The Wine

Tasting Notes

A dry white blend made from Bacchus, Ortega and Pinot Blanc, the Culver Hill is our estate blend and brings out the best elements of all three varieties. The Ortega makes up 50% of the blend, bringing structure and richness to the mid palate, the Pinot Blanc adds bright citrus notes and the Bacchus grape, adds depth and complexity. On the nose are aromas of Braeburn apple, honeysuckle and nectarine that follow through on the palate with subtle minerality, a well balanced acidity and a clean finish.

Variety: Ortega, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc

Location: Amberley, Stonehouse & Woodchester

Press: Combination of both crushed & de-stemmed and whole bunch pressing.

Fermentation: Stainless steel

Alcohol: 11.5%

Residual sugar: 4 g/l

Bottled: March 2023

Orders received before 10am are dispatched on a next day delivery service, but please allow 2-3 working days, but can be up to five working days in busy periods.

If a landline number is provided, this will not be used – you will just receive an email notification instead. For local deliveries, we will use your number only to call you if lost.

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for 6+ bottles. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.

Our long awaited 2022 Sauvignon Blanc. Part of our Limited-edition range made from grapes harvested from just 2,000 vines planted on our steepest vineyard field called Westrip. These vines have been producing award winning wines from the very beginning with our first release the 2017 winning a silver medal. This was followed by an unprecedented double gold for the 2018 at the 2019 IWSC and 2019 Global Sauvignon Blanc Masters. Most recently our 2021 vintage took home the Global Sauvignon Blanc Master Medal, a pioneering first for English Sauvignon Blanc.

After a successful first release we are happy to announce our second single variety Ortega, harvested on our second pick of our Ortega vines in Woodchester. Bright, bold aromas of candied orange peel, roasted peaches and hints of ripe apricot. Subtle notes of vanilla pod and cinnamon, from the fermentation and ageing in barrel. Surprisingly rich, yet bone dry on the palate with notes of spice and grilled orchard fruits.
