The Retreat is a spacious and welcoming two-bedroom farmhouse set within our Woodchester vineyard, offering over 1,400 sq ft of comfortable living space across two floors. Designed for slower stays and relaxed Cotswolds breaks, it sleeps up to four guests and is ideal for couples travelling together, small family groups or guests wishing to explore the area with their dogs.

Nestled in its own enclosed garden with valley views, The Retreat combines the charm of a countryside home with the convenience of being moments from Nailsworth, Stroud and many of the region’s best walks, pubs and attractions.

Space to Relax

The entrance leads into a practical utility room, perfect for muddy boots or walking gear after a day exploring the Cotswold’s.

From here you enter the large, fully equipped kitchen–diner, featuring:

• Fridge, freezer, oven, hob & breakfast bar
• Dining table
• Log burner for cosy evenings
• Smart TV for relaxed nights in

The kitchen flows into a central hallway, off which you’ll find:

• A bright, airy living room with generous windows, vineyard and valley views, comfortable seating and a second log burner
• Bedroom 2, which can be arranged as a double or twin
• A family bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower
• Stairs up to the Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom

The layout offers excellent flexibility for couples, friends or small groups seeking their own space.

Upstairs is the spacious master bedroom, featuring:

• Super-king bed (twin option available)
• Valley views
• Ensuite bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower

Downstairs:

• Bedroom 2 (double or twin arrangement)
• Family bathroom directly next door

Both bedrooms can be configured as twins on request, making The Retreat well-suited to mixed groups, work trips or friends travelling together.
