Join us for a week long celebration of English Wine at our English Wine Week Festival, 18-26th June 2022
In addition to our usual tour schedule we are also hosting a series of special events at the vineyard. Please see below for more details about each event. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment; we hope to see you there.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Father’s Day Pinot Picnic
As part of our Festival of English wine events and in honour of Father's Day we invite you to our first annual Pinot Picnic.
We will greet you with a short introduction to our selection of Pinot Noir wines followed by a picnic basket with a selection of locally produced artisan cheese and charcuterie, bread, crackers and farmhouse butter, chutney, tomatoes, crisps and fruit. Vegetarian and vegan options available too of course.
The tasting room doors will be wide open and you can sit either indoors or out on the terrace or for those of you who would like to bring your picnic blankets along, the grassy expanse of "Woodchester Green" will be open for you to picnic on and enjoy the stunning valley views, lounging encouraged!
Each sharing basket for two people includes a full bottle of your choice of either Pinot Rose or Pinot Noir or Reserve Cuvee and there will be Strawberry Roulade for dessert, to be served from the Tasting Room.
The complete selection of our wines will also be available to purchase by the glass and we gently suggest that you consider arranging a taxi or a lift so that you can relax and enjoy the full experience of award-winning English wine and delicious food at mid-summer.

English Wine Week Grand Tasting
Come and join us on the penultimate day of English Wine Week for our Grand Tasting.
A complete tasting of our range of award winning Cotswolds wines.
Enjoy a chance to meet our either founder Fiona Shiner or winemaker Jeremy Mount who will introduce the event, followed by a tutored tasting through the rest of our range.
All accompanied by a delicious grazing platter of meats, cheeses and nibbles (veggie and vegan options too).
When: Saturday 25th June, 3pm

A Midsummer Flight’s Dream – COMING SOON
Join us for a relaxed fun tasting and enjoy the fine views across the valley on a dreamy evening of midsummer.
Pick your choice of flights of our award-winning wines specially chosen to pair with a selection of artisan local cheeses and nibbles.
When: Thursday 23rd June, 6pm

Afternoon Tea with Sparkling Wine Tasting
We’ve teamed up with fantastic local business Le T’Artistry who will be providing their delicious afternoon teas to accompany a tasting of our sparkling wines! Arrive at our tasting room to be taken through a tasting of our sparkling wines, then choose your favourite to enjoy a glass with your afternoon tea. Additional glasses can be bought throughout the event.
Afternoon tea includes a selection of sandwiches, cakes, tarts and scones, strawberry jam, clotted cream and of course tea & coffee. Vegetarian and gluten free options available.
When: Sunday 26th June, 3pm
Cost: £40 per person
Vineyard Tour & Dog Walk
The perfect Tuesday morning. Arrive at the tasting room for a cup of tea, coffee, and biscuits (both dog and human friendly!) We’ll explore our vineyards at Woodchester where we’ll talk about growing and managing vines in the UK. Then we’ll return to the tasting room where you’ll be welcomed with a flight of our 3 of our favourite wines.
When: Tuesday 21st June, 10:30am
Cost: £12 per person, dogs come for free
Friday Fizz & Chips!
Fish Friday with a difference! We’re delighted to have teamed up with Stroud’s finest, award-winning Fish & Chip stars, Simpsons, to bring you a delicious and perfect pairing. Relax with friends and enjoy eating and drinking the very best in local produce.
What’s included? A glass of Woodchester Valley’s sparkling wine paired with a portion of Simpson’s finest cod & chips. An informal tasting with a few words about our sparkling wine making and why it pairs so well with everyone’s Friday favourite.
Want a top up? Wine may be purchased by the glass at this event.
When: Friday 24th June, 6:15pm
