IWSC Judge’s tasting notes: ‘Watery pale lemon/green youthful colour. Fantastic typicity on the nose: hedgerow aromas, mown grass, capsicum, bay leaf, pink gooseberries and whitecurrants. The palate has a mineral, flinty gunsmoke wisp; it follows through the amazing layers and concentration of fruits. Long, ripe finish. Lovely winemaking.’
Made from our very best parcels of Bacchus grapes from across the estate, the Orpheus is a wine of great finesse. A combination of whole bunch and de-stemmed fruit was pressed in an inert environment preserving the aroma and flavour pre cursors to create a concentrated well balanced expression of the Bacchus variety. This wine displays complex and well integrated flavours of elderflower, soft green fruits and citrus fruits with defined minerality and great length.

An intriguingly flavoursome yet delicate and dry rosé. The ripe raspberry and strawberry aromas and flavours are pronounced due to the cold maceration of the fruit for 4 hours before fermentation. This wine has excellent balance with a fresh lingering finish.
A full-bodied and superbly structured rosé expressing an abundance of ripe and juicy red fruit character with a long and very pleasant finish. A perfect all seasons rosé that can also be enjoyed as an alternative to a light red.
