Tasting Notes:

This year’s Cotswold Classic is a blend of Seyval Blanc, Pinot Blanc & Pinot Gris, but for the first time with the addition of 15% Chardonnay, As usual there is a bright refreshing acidity, beautiful fruit and as sence of fun, but this release is all grown up.

There is more concentration, more complexity & a perfect balance. The nose shows the most wonderful baked apple & brioche aromase with a touch of lemon peel. The palate is well-balanced with ripe apple pie flavours combined with citrus notes. a touch of salinity and a long, complex and satisfying finish.

Food Parings:

A delicious crowd pleaser, this is perfect aperitif but also works well with a wide range of foods, especially a crab ceviche, salted edamame beans & fresh poké bowls with a lime dressing. Why not even try it with an avocado & lime prawn cocktail.

Varieties: 54% Seyval Blanc, 23% Pinot Blanc, 15% Chardonnay, 8% Pinot Gris

Location: Stonehouse, Amberley & Woodchester

Fermentation: Stainless steel

Alcohol: 12%

Residual sugar: 8.5g/l

Time on lees: Minimum 18 months

Disgorging: From January 2025

Orders received before 10am are dispatched on a next day delivery service, but please allow 2-3 working days, but can be up to five working days in busy periods.

If a landline number is provided, this will not be used – you will just receive an email notification instead. For local deliveries, we will use your number only to call you if lost.

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for 6+ bottles. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.

Additional charges will apply for orders to Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands, please contact us for details. Unfortunately we currently cannot ship overseas.

A new addition to the Woodchester range, the Trigonia Series of sparkling wines have spent extended time on the lees before being released.

The first release of our Trigonia Series, the 2016 Blanc de Blancs. This wine was bottled in early summer 2017 and has now spent six years on the lees, quietly evolving and developing those enhanced autolytic aromas and flavours. Disgorged in May 2023, the nose is still fresh and lively, with inviting biscuit and pastry aromas reminiscent of a lemon tart.
