Orpheus Bacchus:
The 2023 vintage is a well structured, elegant dry white wine. On the nose you find undertones of gooseberry, elderflower & pink grapefruit. The precise citrus & pink grapefruit aromas follow through seamlessly on the palate developing into elegant, mouth-watering stone fruits. A delightfully well balanced wine.
“Hint of salinity – a serious Bacchus that’s definitely different from the regular bottling.” – Jancis Robinson. Rated 16.5/20. Wines given this score "are serious, well-made wines that would give pleasure."
Tenterhook:
An enticing blend of Ortega and Siegerrebe with aromas of apricot, grapefruit and orange blossom leading to a burst of citrus clementines and honeycomb. Structure and complexity is added by the barrel fermented Ortega.
Pinot Rosé:
Inviting aromas of ripe strawberries and raspberries. Its pale salmon colour complements the subtle strawberry notes and there are copious amounts of lush strawberries and fresh picked raspberries which linger long on the palate. A lovely, well-balanced and refreshing acidity leaves you wanting more.
Pinot Précoce:
Smoky mulberries & black cherries on the nose with an explosion of creamy dark fruits on the palate. Very long & moreish wine which has good structure & depth. Toasted vanilla oak flavours linger on the palate.
Reserve Cuvée:
This wine has inviting aromas of honeysuckle, lemon meringue and ripe orchard fruits leading to flavours of mellow citrus with a rich nuttiness. The minimum of 30 months lees aging shows the depth of autolytic flavours. A well balanced, generous flavourful finish and delicate fine mousse makes this an elegant and extremely moreish wine.
Cotswold Classic
Cotswold Classic is a blend of Seyval Blanc, Pinot Blanc & Pinot Gris, but for the first time with the addition of Chardonnay. As usual there is a bright refreshing acidity, beautiful fruit and a sense of fun, but this release is all grown up.
There is more concentration, more complexity & a perfect balance. The nose shows the most wonderful baked apple & brioche aromas with a touch of lemon peel. The palate is well-balanced with ripe apple pie flavours combined with citrus notes. It has a touch of salinity and a long, complex and satisfying finish.
