GROUND BREAKING IN THE COTSWOLDS

An English Sauvignon Blanc from our boutique Cotswold vineyards.

A wonderfully good season in 2017 allowed us to pick our Sauvignon Blanc grapes at excellent ripeness levels and release as a single varietal white wine. The results of our efforts have been rewarded with a Silver Medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2018.

We think this is an English wine first.

A refreshing and aromatic Sauvignon with characteristics of subtle gooseberry and lime, our wine maker Jeremy has made the most of his experience from working at the Matua Winery in New Zealand to produce a delicious, well balanced and ‘morish’ English Sauvignon.

Let’s not forget to mention our Pinot Noir Rosé 2017 which doubled our silver medal tally at the IWSC following on from its recommendation by Mathew Jukes in Vineyard Magazine.

Both wines will be part of our Master Class Tasting hosted by Susan McCraith, MW during ENGLISH WINE WEEK on Tuesday 29th May at 7pm. Come and Try.
