About The Wine

Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes:

An enticing blend of Ortega and Siegerrebe with aromas of apricot, grapefruit and orange blossom leading to a burst of citrus clementines and honeycomb. Structure and complexity is added by the barrel fermented Ortega.

Food Pairing:

Tenterhook pairs well with lightly spiced dishes such as a vegetable or chicken tagine. Enjoy it alongside grilled chicken and vegetable skewers or a delectably fresh tomato and broccoli quiche.

Variety: 50% Ortega, 50% Siegerrebe

Location: Woodchester

Press: Whole bunched pressed

Fermentation: Ortega – Barrel fermented. Siegerrebe – Stainless steel

Alcohol: 11.5%

Residual sugar: 2g/l

Bottled: April 2024

Orders received before 10am are dispatched on a next day delivery service, but please allow 2-3 working days, but can be up to five working days in busy periods.

Please provide an email address and a mobile phone number for order tracking and delivery puproses. For deliveries sent by our courier (ParcelForce), an email and text message will be sent to you to let you know when your delivery will arrive. If a landline number is provided, this will not be used – you will just receive an email notification instead. For local deliveries, we will use your number only to call you if lost.

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for 6+ bottles. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.

Additional charges will apply for orders to Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands, please contact us for details. Unfortunately we currently cannot ship overseas.
