About The Wine

Tasting Notes

Sauvignon Blanc

The 2023 vintage is a true cool climate example, more akin to our 2021 vintage in profile, with goosberry & cut grass on the nose, grapefruit & citrus fruits on the palate it is mout-wateringly refreshing with oodles of Sauvignon Blanc character & a lovely finish.

Pinot Précoce

The wonderfully ripe 2022 vintage has resulted in a rich red made from Pinot Précoce & Pinot Noir grapes. Pinot Précoce is an early ripening clone of Pinot Noir which is well suited to the English climate with small berries & bunches, providing concentrated flavour & aromas & the Pinot Noir providing finesse & elegance to the wine. Smoky mulberries & black cherries on the nose with an explosion of creamy dark fruits on the palate. Very long & moreish wine which has good structure & depth. Toasted vanilla oak flavours linger on the palate.

Mosaic

An elegantly balanced, fresh, vibrant wine with aromas of pink grapefruit, melon and honeysuckle, which matures on the palate into a complex, fruit forward mouth-watering show of grapefruit, clementine and stone fruits with great flavour length.

Pinot Noir

Excellent depth of colour in this very youthful and concentrated Pinot Noir. Aromas of black cherry with layers of vanilla and chocolate, this has a lovely backbone of acidity and has a fine future ahead. The flavours will develop further so lay this wine down in the cellar.

Rosé Brut

Gold Medal Winner! A delightful sparkling Rosé with a pretty pale salmon colour, and a persistent, pale mousse. The aroma is inviting with delicate macerated strawberries and cream, so soft yet persistent presence on the palate, with minerality underpinning red berry fruit and orange zest.

Blanc de Blancs

Trophy Winner! Delightfully ripe aromas of tarte tatin alongside unwaxed lemon zest. An elegant minerality underpinned with notes of peaches & nectarine, beautifully balanced with decadent lemon tart notes. The deliciously creamy mousse & ripe fruit notes showcase the ripe vintage of 2018, an extremely elegant, slow-maturing wine that promises many years of evolution in the cellar!
