Pinot Précoce
Tasting Notes:
The wonderfully ripe 2022 vintage has resulted in a rich red made from Pinot Précoce & Pinot Noir grapes. Pinot Précoce is an early ripening clone of Pinot Noir which is well suited to the English climate with small berries & bunches, providing concentrated flavour & aromas & the Pinot Noir providing finesse & elegance to the wine. Smoky mulberries & black cherries on the nose with an explosion of creamy dark fruits on the palate. Very long & moreish wine which has good structure & depth. Toasted vanilla oak flavours linger on the palate.
Food Pairings:
Delicious & versatile, this is a firm favourite on our Pinot & Pizza evenings. This wine would pair well with pan-fried duck breast & sautéed green vegetables, grilled halloumi & vegetable skewers, and soft gooey cheeses
Rosé Brut
Tasting Notes:
A delightful sparkling Rosé with a pretty pale salmon colour, & a delicate persistent mousse. On the nose, there are inviting aromas of ripe raspberries & strawberries with elegant pastry notes. On the palate there is an abundance of summer berries, cherries and Victoria plums with a well integrated burst of citrus fruits, reminiscent of summer evenings & Eton Mess.
Food Pairings:
The perfect aperitif but also works well with a wide range of foods from shellfish canapés to kalamata olives & feta to Biltong. Why not try with hot smoked salmon & rice salad with a zesty yuzu & miso dressing.
Mosaic XXIV
Tasting Notes:
An elegantly balanced, fresh, vibrant wine with aromas of pink grapefruit, melon and honeysuckle, which matures on the palate into a complex, fruit forward mouth-watering show of grapefruit, clemantine and stone fruits with a great flavour length.
Food Pairing:
Enjoyed as an aperitif and would pair well with seafood, light pasta dishes, soft cheeses and asian dishes.
