About The Wine

Tasting Notes

Bacchus:

Our bestselling Bachus is beautifully aromatic with heady notes of elderflower, fresh cut grass, lime leaf & passionfruit. The palate has vibrant, ripe citrus flavours with a touch of gooseberry on the finish. Brilliantly balances zippy acidity & teriffic length.

Rated 16.5 by Jancis Robinson. Wines given this score "are serious, well-made wines that would give pleasure."

Mosaic: 

An elegantly balanced, fresh, vibrant wine with aromas of pink grapefruit, melon and honeysuckle, which matures on the palate into a complex, fruit forward mouth-watering show of grapefruit, clementine and stone fruits with great
flavour length. Collection special – bottle & case purchases only open to Wine Club members. 

Pinot Rosé: 

Inviting aromas of ripe strawberries and raspberries. Its pale salmon colour complements the subtle strawberry notes and there are copious amounts of lush strawberries and fresh picked raspberries which linger long on the palate. A lovely, well-balanced and refreshing acidity leaves you wanting more.

Pinot Précoce: 

Smoky mulberries & black cherries on the nose with an explosion of creamy dark fruits on the palate. Very long & moreish wine which has good structure & depth. Toasted vanilla oak flavours linger on the palate. 

Reserve Cuvée: 

This wine has inviting aromas of honeysuckle, lemon meringue and ripe orchard fruits leading to flavours of mellow citrus with a rich nuttiness. The minimum of 30 months lees aging shows the depth of autolytic flavours. A well balanced, generous flavourful finish and delicate fine mousse makes this an elegant and extremely moreish wine.

Blanc de Blancs: 

Delightfully ripe aromas of tarte tatin alongside unwaxed lemon zest. An elegant minerality underpinned with notes of peaches & nectarine, beautifully balanced with decadent lemon tart notes. The deliciously creamy mousse & ripe fruit notes showcase the ripe vintage of 2018. An extremely elegant, slow-maturing wine that promises many years of evolution in the cellar!

Delivery

Orders received before 10am are dispatched on a next day delivery service, but please allow 2-3 working days, but can be up to five working days in busy periods.

Please provide an email address and a mobile phone number for order tracking and delivery puproses. For deliveries sent by our courier (ParcelForce), an email and text message will be sent to you to let you know when your delivery will arrive. If a landline number is provided, this will not be used – you will just receive an email notification instead. For local deliveries, we will use your number only to call you if lost.

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for 6+ bottles. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.

Additional charges will apply for orders to Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands, please contact us for details. Unfortunately we currently cannot ship overseas.
