About The Wine

Tasting Notes

2x Culver Hill 2023

A delightfully fresh, dry white wine made from Bacchus,Ortega and Pinot Blanc, the Culver Hill is our estate blendand brings out the best elements of all three varieties. The Ortega makes up 40% of the blend, bringing structure and richness to the mid palate, the Pinot Blanc adds bright citrus notes and the Bacchus grape, adds depth and complexity. On the nose are aromas of Braeburn apple, honeysuckle and nectarine that follow through on the palate with subtle minerality, a well balanced acidity and a clean finish.

 

2x Bacchus 2022

Following on for our 2022 Bacchus which was voted one of the top five English Bacchus by Great British Wine, this wine is made from 100% Bacchus grapes picked form the heart of the cotswolds.

 

Tenterhook

Made from a blend or equal parts Ortega and Siegerrebe, this is a deliciously fresh and complex wine that will continue developing in the bottle as it ages. On the nose is a bouquet of orange blossom, golden apple and honeyed notes that follow onto the palate with apricots, nectarines and fresh grapefruit.  Beautifully balanced richness and acidity with a well structured, delicate creamy texture from the barrel fermentation. 

 

Rosé 2023

A deliciously easy drinking fruit forward rosé. Aromas of ripe alpine strawberries, raspberry and cranberry. A gorgeous salmon pink colour, the palate is alive with raspberry, strawberry and a hint of rhubarb and blood orange. This wine is refreshing, elegant and has a lovely crisp, mouthwatering finish.

Variety: Ortega, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc
Location: Amberley, Stonehouse & Woodchester
Press: Combination of both crushed & de-stemmed and whole bunch pressing.
Fermentation: Stainless steel & small amount in oak barrels
Alcohol: 11.5%
Residual sugar: 3 g/l
Bottled: April 2024

 

Bacchus 2022

Variety: 100% Bacchus

Location: Stonehouse

Press: Combination of both crushed & de-stemmed and whole bunch pressing, in a hyper-reductive environment.

Fermentation: Stainless Steel

Alcohol: 12%

Residual sugar: 2 g/l

Bottled: March 2023

Suitable for vegans

 

Rosé 2023

Variety: 100% Regent

Location: Woodchester

Press: Whole bunch pressed

Fermentation: Stainless steel

Alcohol: 11.5%

Residual sugar: 2 g/l

Bottled: April 2024

Delivery

Orders received before 10am are dispatched on a next day delivery service, but please allow 2-3 working days, but can be up to five working days in busy periods.

Please provide an email address and a mobile phone number for order tracking and delivery puproses. For deliveries sent by our courier (ParcelForce), an email and text message will be sent to you to let you know when your delivery will arrive. If a landline number is provided, this will not be used – you will just receive an email notification instead. For local deliveries, we will use your number only to call you if lost.

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for 6+ bottles. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.

Additional charges will apply for orders to Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands, please contact us for details. Unfortunately we currently cannot ship overseas.
